Safety & Instructions

Please read all our safety information before using our products.

Our goal is to provide the highest standard in design, safety, and functionality on the market for the modern parent. All materials have been sourced, designed, and tested to meet standards for safety and quality. Your minis are important to us, so we spend our time and effort into providing the best on the market for their first years.

Packaging Safety

Our covers are packaged in a thin plastic film, and our swaddles are packaged in a thicker plastic bag (which carries its own printed safety warning). Both types of packaging are a suffocation hazard for infants and children. Please remove and dispose of all packaging safely, out of your baby's reach, before use - never leave a child to play with or near the wrapping.

Cover Safety

  • Supervision required: Always supervise your baby when using the cover in any application. Do not leave your baby unattended.
  • Always remove the cover from your baby's infant capsule before placing it in a vehicle, and never leave your baby covered when unattended.
  • While our covers are lightweight and breathable, always monitor your baby to prevent overheating, especially in warm climates or during hot summer months. Keep the cover away from any heat sources or open flames.
  • Secure fit: Ensure the cover is properly fitted to prevent it from becoming a hazard or causing entanglement.
  • Breathing: When using the cover on a car seat capsule or carrycot, ensure there is adequate airflow to avoid any risk of suffocation. Do not use if it obstructs airflow. Keep the cover well clear of your baby's face and mouth, especially when breastfeeding or covering baby in their capsule or carry cot.
  • Inspect regularly: Check the cover regularly for signs of wear or damage. Do not use it if it is torn or damaged.
  • Proper usage: Only use the cover for its intended purposes as described. Do not modify or repurpose it in ways not recommended.
  • Safe use: Do not use the cover in a way that could interfere with the safety features of your car seat or high chair, such as harnesses or safety straps.
  • Cleaning: Follow the care instructions provided. Regularly clean the cover to maintain hygiene, and ensure it is completely dry before use.

Swaddle & Sleep Sack Safety

  • Always place your baby on their back to sleep, on a firm, flat surface.
  • While the swaddle wrap is attached: stop using it as soon as your baby shows signs of rolling, or once their startle reflex fades (usually around 3 months) - whichever comes first. At this point, remove the swaddle piece and continue using the sleep sack base with arms free.
  • Ensure the swaddle is snug around the body but allows room for natural hip and leg movement.
  • Dress your baby for the room temperature, not by a fixed rule. Check by feeling your baby's chest or back (not hands or feet) - they should feel warm, not hot, sweaty, or cold.
  • Always keep your baby's head and face uncovered during sleep.
  • Never place a swaddled or sleep-sacked baby on a soft surface, sofa, or adult bed to sleep.
  • Do not use the sleep sack or swaddle if it is loose enough to ride up over your baby's face.
  • Do not use the swaddle wrap piece while co-sleeping, or combine it with another separate sleeping bag or wrap.
  • If the swaddle piece is removable, ensure it is either fully and securely attached, or fully removed - never left loosely or partially attached.
  • Always supervise your baby while sleeping, and follow standard safe sleep guidance for infants.
